We hate to fly!
Imagine that!! Travel time to ANZ is 16 hours. Lizzy and I haven't traveled b air in over a decade; talk about culture shock!
So... we'll just drive. Yes, folks; we're driving to San Francisco rather than flying. Maybe that sounds a bit crazy, but we love piling up the miles. We'll take 5 leisurely days to travel from DFW to SF with stops in Wichita Falls where we'll visit pals Steve and Venice; Santa Rosa, NM, Flagstaff, AZ; Bakersfield, CA; and finally San Francisco where we'll spend our list night stateside.
We're packing light - just two carryons a piece. Even with that the Miata will be sporting a luggage rack to assist with the luggage.
